This 3.6-volt battery is the most common Macintosh PRAM or Macintosh clock battery. Apple has traditionally used the Tadiran (pictured here*), Maxell, or Saft brands of batteries. The 3.6-volt battery is about half the size of a standard AA battery. It is found in most Mac desktop computers [See complete list below].

Our battery has a 10-year shelf life [the date code on the battery we will send you is the manufacture date, not the expiration date], and is rated at 1200 mAh while the most common Tadiran is only rated at 950 mAh.
